Revisiting the Cerberus situation with LB...
Multiple members of LB told me that Res needed to be faster with our claim, and thats why they rushed in and took it from us with 8 people in their party...
Yet this weekend Auronku claims Fafnir and dies because his alliance couldn't cure/invite him in time. Clan claims and HANDS IT BACK to LB. Now this is called respect, something we didn't recieve at Cerb. The only reason I mention this is because Auron told me in tell:
a) We gotta be faster if you want the big kills
b) We will have the same thing happen us again, especially with the JPN shells.
Well, seems not Auron. If that were so, then Clan wouldn't have handed you guys back Fafnir even though you lost it when you died. I'm just trying to make a point here, even in the endgame arena, LS's can show respect to other LS's that actually do the work, i.e. camping a HNM (us) as well as claiming a HNM(you).

I'm pretty sure this falls under the category of whining. If you don't want people to still think of you as Gorocry, maybe don't worry about what LB does and how Ress handles it. Just enjoy what you do get to do.
This is my completely unbiased opinion here btw. From what I've seen, LB appears to be a much older and much more respected LS than Ress, so I can see why a JP LS would hand something back to them. And when your LS leader starts drama all the time, I don't think other LS are going to respect him enough to give him back anything.
There was another difference, in that Fafnir was still beating on members of LB while Isis had claim. And the lag in the area prevented anyone from targeting Auronku.
Secondly, had it been a Nidhogg, it probably wouldn't have been handed back. /shrug
Things like Cerberus, Hydra, Tiamat, Jormungand... you can sit and gather all you want; but if you don't pull, it's still anyone's for the claim.
Just to clear up some things. Firstly just that I didn't claim that Fafnir in reality. Kazsuyuki claimed it with Chi Blast, i didn't even target it til it was red to me. So I voked, ran it to a corner and was promptly 4-shotted on warrior mind you. Now for whatever reason it went unclaimed at this point, Kaz should have still had some hate on it but I've seen the same sorthat thing happen to linkshells before. I think BBQ had one happen not too long ago as well with MisfitGods. So I wasn't the one to claim and I was in the alliance, but for whatever reason it went unclaimed upon my death.
The comments I made you to regarding Cerberus were as painfully truthful as I could make them I guess. I agree with you that ethically it would have been right for us to let you guys claim since you had gathered, but I'm here to tell you that ethics just dont go that far in this game. I do try hard these days to consider how my actions and my linkshell's actions are in line with what I think is right as I've learned from past mistakes.
As I told you with Tiamat/Cerberus those type guys, it's really not about a respect factor because it comes down to confidence. We were confident and ready to claim with what he had and I'm 100% certain any other linkshell in the HNM scene gonna do the same thing. Is it right? maybe not, but it's just how it goes man.
Now going back to the Fafnir situation. I'm not sure why Clan gave it back. Kaeko pointed out it helped a lot that Kaz could explain to Clan what happened in Japanese and to most of the witnesses there that knew the whole story of what happened, I think the onsensus what that it should be given back, so maybe Clan wanted to save some face. You don't come to expect these things from Clan based on past history, but we all know people change and we gotta give them benefit of the doubt in the future it seems because they did the right thing.
Wrapping it up, I know you guys were upset with the Cerb situation. PP did the same thing to us just 2 weeks ago and took 2 hours to kill it so I mean I've been there and it sucks, but they were confident to claim it with what they had and we weren't so we paid the price. HNMs tend to break people's rationality at times; all we can do is accpet the outcome and learn from it.

You and i have run into this many times in FuriousX as well. There has been many times where we had a single party around for something like Faust, MG, or Zip, not nearly what we wouldve needed to kill it, but enough to survive before reinforcements arrived.
So we would claim, despite there being another group standing there waiting on their members to arrive.
In the mean time we claimed it already, and reinforcements arrive just in time. It realy happens all the time on all sorts of enemies. and we were just as guilty of being faster to the claim and LB was. ;)
I think thats what Auronku is getting at. If you can hold it safely, grab it! and hold it, by all means. Noone is going to get upset with Resurection for this, i mean its a tactic that everyone uses.
Waiting till your at 100% when there is another LS gathering there members at the same time is realy kind of silly. Sure, it guarantees a better performance and more than likely the kill. But, you will have to wait and hope the previous LS whipes first.
I dont see anything that has changed in this respect towards sky and HNM.
As for the repsect thing, and please dont take offence to this, but resurections reputation is not the most sterling. I wont get any further into it, because they are a very good and competant(sp) LS.
But Hex does cause quite a bit of drama in his own right.
